I have spent the last three years doing a lot of listening—listening to the world at large, my friends, clients, family, and very deeply to myself. I keep hearing these words over and over again:
“There is an urgent need for context.”
Context is the structure, framework, or background of a thing. It’s the filter or paradigm through which we assign meaning and develop understanding.
When our lives and the planet are shifting and changing, when we are going through tremendous transition in society and culture, it is the context that we hold and subscribe to that makes all the difference.
Context: the circumstances in which something may be fully understood;
the parts of something that clarify its meaning
If we are meeting for the first time, allow me to introduce myself, and if we are meeting again, I am so glad we’re on this journey together.
I am Lola Wright. I am a thought leader, speaker, and coach. I have led in the for-profit and non-profit worlds. I have led sales teams, volunteer teams, artists, and entrepreneurs. I have led teams within some of the largest organizations in the world and I have led intimate teams within small businesses. I create high-octane and potent experiences that produce transformational results. Whether I am on stage with a killer band or I am leading an executive retreat, the experiences I facilitate alter reality as people understand it.
I have founded and own three businesses. I am credentialed in a myriad of modalities from very traditional disciplines to wildly esoteric methods. I am as comfortable working with the CEO of a Fortune 500 company as I am working with a teenage mom—my personal experience has been that vast. I have four children. I am married to my best friend. I am a lifelong Chicagoan. And I have devoted my life to the transformation of human beings.
One of the gifts I bring to the world is my ability to make sense of the moment. I have a capacity to interpret circumstances and conditions beyond the obvious. That gift has enabled me to work with people at the top of their game as an advisor and confidant.
I am willing to say things that others won’t and I ask questions that others don’t. That gift has enabled me to be a trusted ally for my clients, family, and friends. As a child, this gift was unrefined and reckless until I realized just how important it is and how valuable it would be to my clients, partners, team members, and the most important people in my life.
I have spent the last thirty years developing my abilities and am now a sought-after expert.
I advise, coach, and guide influential leaders and teams to contextualize the change they are needing and wanting so that they may have a transformational presence on the planet.
We work at the level of context because context makes all the difference. We parse out fact from fiction. I work closely with my clients to transform their perception of work and life so they can create what they most deeply desire.
I have worked with thousands of human beings in one-on-one coaching and in large group settings to contextualize what they are experiencing and what we are moving through as a group—whether that be individually, relationally, organizationally, or culturally.
If you are ready to take your work and your life to the next level and transform the limitations you are experiencing, let me know. I would love to work closely with you and your team to maximize your impact, get honest about what’s keeping you stuck, and produce the results you really want.
